"A great personality, Bron really adds the magic to your event."
Bron Ivy began learning magic as a way to share a story back in 2016. Unlike many magicians, she came to magic later in life but that hasn't stopped her from taking the magic community by storm. Bron successfully passed her exam to become a Member of the Magic Circle at the highest level that can be achieved through examination - Associate Member of Inner Magic Circle with Silver Star.
Since then, Bron has gone from strength to strength. Just two months after becoming a member of The Magic Circle, Bron became a finalist in the club’s prestigious Close Up Magician of the Year competition. Bron is also a regular performer and host at The Magic Circle’s Close Up Show, and can often be found at other public shows throughout the year performing close up in the clubroom. During her first year as a member of The Magic Circle, Bron has been invited to perform onstage for members nights on five different occasions.
Bron Ivy has experience of performing in a range of venues to a wide variety of audiences. From the RAC Club at Pall Mall to the Wellchild Awards, church social clubs to birthday parties, Bron really can work her magic for everyone, anywhere.
Bron Ivy loves sharing magic with a message and story - this was what brought her to magic in the first place. Bron is an accomplished gospel magician, and has won the Creative Arts Award at Equip (formly the European Puppetry and Creative Ministries Festival) three years in a row (2019, 2021, 2022.)
Bron was accredited as a local preacher in the Methodist Church in 2022, and is highly requested by churches in her circuit for her down to earth, accessible style of preaching. Of course, it helps that there's often a little magic sprinkled in each sermon too!
As well as being three time winner of the Equip Festival Creative Arts Award, Bron has also been recognised for her creativity and magical ability within the magic community, being awarded for the most creative magical effect at South London Magic Society's Close Up Competition (2023), and the Fooler medal at South London Magic Society's Fool Us Competition (2024.)
Bron loves making magic for everyone, and is proud to have been chosen to perform for local refugee families, children and adults with learning disabilities, and children and young people with profound multiple learning disabilities.
